Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson expressed his support for Vivek Ramaswamy as a potential Vice Presidential candidate for former President Donald Trump.
Carlson praised Ramaswamy for his shift towards authenticity in his positions.
“I kind of like Vivek,” Carlson stated.
“I think he’s one of those people who everyone beats up on… for being he’s a phony and all this stuff.”
“I feel like Vivek’s positions have gotten much more sincere since the beginning of this.”

“I watch him with Nikki Haley and I’m like, ‘this is a guy who’s very offended by her views.'”
“He’s not attacking her because she’s a woman, he’s attacking her because he actually thinks her views are terrible for the country he lives in. And I love that,” Carlson finished.
Ramaswamy is known for standing outside the political spectrum of roles, which many believe is a way that could make him an excellent pick for Trump.

With Carlson’s endorsement, his potential as Trump’s VP holds more weight as the Republican party prepares for the upcoming election cycle.
Ramaswamy pledged to withdraw from the GOP primary ballot in Colorado after the state’s Supreme Court ruled to remove former President Trump from the vote for his role in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
In response to the ruling, Ramaswamy said in a statement:
“I pledge to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately — or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country.”
“This is what an actual attack on democracy looks like in an un-American, unconstitutional, and unprecedented decision: a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado,” Ramaswamy said.
In contrast to Ramaswamy, Carlson said he would oppose Trump’s re-election campaign if Haley was to be selected as his Vice Presidential candidate.
Carlson blasted Haley for being contrary to the country’s interests, labeling her addition to the ticket as detrimental.
