Just hours after President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race, a pro-Trump political action committee launched an ad targeting Vice President Kamala Harris.
After repeatedly reassuring supporters he wasn’t leaving the race, Biden announced on Sunday he was…leaving the race.
The president also endorsed Harris in a follow-up post, declaring it the “best decision I’ve made.”
Not long after Biden’s announcement, the MAGA Inc. political action committee released an ad accusing Harris of “covering up” Biden’s “mental decline.”

“Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe’s obvious mental decline,” a narrator says in the ad.
“Kamala knew Joe couldn’t do the job, so she did it. Look what she got done: a border invasion, runaway inflation, the American Dream dead.”
In recent weeks, Biden faced growing calls to step down following his cataphoric CNN debate with former President Donald Trump last month.
Until Biden departed from the race, the White House and many Democrats, including Harris, denied that his health was declining.
Harris even slammed Special Counsel Robert Hur over his characterization of Biden as an “elderly man” who had memory issues
According to Real Clear Polling average of polls, Harris currently trails Trump by 1.9% in a national head-to-head matchup.
