Former president Barack Obama has told those closest to him he is worried about President Biden’s re-election campaign, believing it’s highly likely he will lose to Trump in 2024.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Obama voiced concerns about Biden’s chances of winning re-election, admitting he “knows this is going to be a close race” and “feels that Democrats very well could lose” in 2024.
Polls show Biden is trailing behind Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump in every swing state.
As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this month, Trump is leading Biden by 10 points in Michigan and five points in Georgia.
These are the two states that Biden won in 2020 but went to Trump in 2016 before he ultimately won the election.
“The news is not great for President Biden,” CNN’s Kasie Hunt said as she reported on results showing Trump leading Biden 49% to 44% in Georgia and 50% to 40% in Michigan.
“Trump’s margin over Biden is significantly boosted in both states by people who say they did not vote in 2020,” Hunt added.
“These less engaged voters favored Trump by 26 points in Georgia and by 40 points in Michigan,” she said.

Obama’s coincide with other Democrats who have voiced concerns about Biden’s age, high inflation, gas prices, foreign policy, and the open-border illegal immigration policies,
Since Biden became president, Obama has reportedly been working behind the scenes and attending Democrat donor meetings to support Biden.
Sources said Obama worries that “the alternative is pretty dangerous for democracy.”
However, Democratic strategist Simon Rosenberg said he wants to see the Biden campaign act more urgently.
“The general election is going to come quicker than we all expected,” Rosenberg said.
“I think it’s just time for the Biden campaign to turn on fully.”
“There’s something more powerful in our discourse, in our daily politics than disappointment in Joe Biden and the Democrats—and that’s fear and opposition to MAGA,” said Rosenberg.
Other GOP presidential contenders, spurred by the persecution of Donald Trump by the DOJ, are., have become increasingly motivated to ensure Republicans take back the White House in 2024.
A recent poll from last week states that Trump is leading in all six swing states less than a year out from the election.
The poll, published by Redfield & Wilton Strategies in partnership with the Telegraph, found that Trump was leading over Biden 40 to 33 percent in Arizona, 44 to 34 percent in Florida, 45 to 35 percent in Georgia, 39 to 38 percent in Michigan, 44 to 35 percent in North Carolina, and 44 to 37 percent in Pennsylvania, The Post.

Florida prefer the 2024 GOP frontrunner 46 to 39 percent, Georgia voters prefer Trump 50 to 34 percent, Michigan voters prefer Trump 50 to 34 percent, North Carolina voters prefer Trump over the incumbent 55 to 32 percent, and Pennsylvania voters prefer Trump over Biden 53 to 34 percent.
The outlet continued: “In regards to voters’ concerns about the economy, many in swing states believe Trump is the better candidate to get the economy back on track, with Arizona voters preferring Trump to Biden 51 to 33 percent, Florida voters preferring the 2024 GOP frontrunner 46 to 39 percent, Georgia voters preferring Trump 50 to 34 percent, Michigan voters preferring Trump 50 to 34 percent, North Carolina voters preferring Trump over the incumbent 55 to 32 percent, and Pennsylvania voters preferring Trump over Biden 53 to 34 percent.”
