Florida Republican Matt Gaetz told crowds during a speech at the Iowa State Fair that “only through force do we make any change in a corrupt town like Washington, D.C.”
Standing near President Trump, Gaetz said, “Mr. President, I cannot stand these people that are destroying our country.”
“They are opening our borders. They are weaponizing our federal law enforcement against patriotic Americans who love this nation as we should.,” he added.
“We are having a great time at the fair. We love standing with you. But we know that only through force do we make any change in a corrupt town like Washington, DC.,” Matt Gaetz said.
“and so, to all my friends here in Iowa, when you see them come for this man there, know that they are coming for our movement, and they are coming for all of us,” Gaetz continued.
“And as hard as you see him work, I need you working ten times harder, a hundred times harder. We’re going to win Iowa, we’re going to march to the nomination, and we’re going to save the greatest country.”

It is not reasonable to assume that Gaetz is in any way supporting some sort of coup.
Also note that Gaetz encouraged people to work “ten times harder, a hundred times harder, we’re going to win Iowa, we’re going to run for the nomination.”
Working “hard” and sending a mob to overthrow the government are two totally different things.
But if leftists take a literal approach to Gaetz’s remarks, it does, however, stand in the firing line for the left-wing media to spin his remarks into some sort of call for another Jan 6.
The clip showing only the “by force” quote is already circulating, and only time will tell how if Gaetz’s rallying call will be used by the left to smear Republicans.
Let’s hope not.

I fear Gaetz is right. If things don’t change quickly it will take force to change D.C. from the shithole of corruption it has become back to a government of, by and for the people.
I fear you are correct. The s**t/government in DC is SO deep.
