LinkedIn Founder Reid Hoffman Terrified Trump Will Come After Him If He Wins Election: 'I'm Concerned'

LinkedIn co-founder and major Democrat donor, Reid Hoffman, voiced fears over the prospect of former president Donald Trump taking back the White House in November.

Hoffman, who helped fund a civil lawsuit against Trump brought by E. Jean Carroll and donated $250,000 to Niki Haley’s now-failed campaign, said he is concerned Trump could retaliate against him.

Hoffman said Joe Biden would actually be a better president for business leaders because he “respects the rule of law.”

“Maybe [Trump] will persecute his political opponents with the instruments of state,” Hoffman said Wednesday in a CNN interview with Matt Egan.

“I’ve literally talked to business leaders who are fearful about speaking out against this because they’re fearful of retaliation.”

“Of course I’m concerned,” he added.

“When you feel fear is the precise time that when you should think about stepping up.”

The Hill reported:

Hoffman argued that despite Trump’s advocacy for lower taxes and less regulation — policy generally favored by business leaders — that’s not the full picture in this election.

“The rule of law is what has made America very special,” he said.

“It has made an environment for business that has been spectacular and a glowing beacon to the entire world.”

“It’s the trust that other countries have in us in our system and how we interact, which allows our industries to export and allows the dollar to be the reserve world currency of the world,” he continued.

“And that’s the reason why Biden is fundamentally, no matter what, more pro-business than Trump.”

As we reported last year, Hoffman admitted he had visited Epstein’s island, Little St. James, telling the Wall Street Journal, “It gnaws me that, by lending my association, I helped his reputation, and thus delayed justice for his survivors.”

The Daily Fetched reported:

According to then-MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito, Hoffman “attended a few fundraising events at [his] request, including one trip to Little St. James, after [he] confirmed to Reid that Mr. Epstein had been an approved donor target for MIT in accordance with university rules and regulations.”

The Wall Street Journal reported that Hoffman made plans to stay overnight at Epstein’s townhouse in Manhattan, New York, the same year, where he joined globalists like Bill Gates for a “breakfast party.”

In 2015, Hoffman joined other Silicon Valley leaders to meet with Epstein again at his home in Palo Alto.

The New York Times reported that Hoffman helped fund a civil lawsuit against Trump brought by E. Jean Carroll, who accused the former president of raping her.
