Embattled actor Kevin Spacey became emotional on Tuesday as he revealed his deeply personal and financial troubles during an interview with Piers Morgan.
When Morgan asked Spacey where he lived, the actor paused and put his head down before admitting his home is being foreclosed.
“Where do you live now?” Morgan asked.
“It’s funny you ask that question, because this week, where I have been living in Baltimore, is being foreclosed on,” the Hollywood responded, as he became emotional.
“My house is being sold at auction. So I have to go back to Baltimore and put all my things in storage,” the actor added.
Spacey admitted he began suffering financial difficulties due to mounting legal bills.
“Because I can’t pay the bills that I owe,” he said.
Morgan continued to press Spacey, asking, “Are you facing bankruptcy?”
The actor said he had considered bankruptcy.
“Been a couple of times when I thought I was going to file, but we’ve managed to sort of dodge it, at least as of today,” he said.

Spacey’s troubles began in October 2017 following allegations of sexual abuse from actor Anthony Rapp, who accused him of making sexual advances toward him when he was just 14.
The allegation was the first of a series of other claims from various individuals who accused Spacey of predatory behavior against minors.
As a result of the allegations, Spacey’s career fell off a cliff.
The actor was removed from the final season of the popular Netflix series House of Cards, in which he played Frank Underwood.
Spacey’s scenes in the completed film “All the Money in the World” were re-shot with actor Christopher Plummer.
Spacey was also charged with indecent assault in Massachusetts, although the case was dropped after the accuser pleaded the Fifth Amendment.
In the UK, the actor faced charges related to allegations of sexual assault against three men between 2005 and 2013 when he was the artistic director at London’s Old Vic Theatre.
However, Spacey found his reputation in tatters despite attempts to return to the public eye.
Spacey was acquitted of sexual battery charges in the civil lawsuit filed by Rapp in 2022.
In 2023, Spacey was acquitted by a jury on nine charges related to the assault of four men.
Despite the actor’s attempts to “Get back on the horse,” his dire circumstances and tarnished reputation could spell the end of his career.
