MSNBC’s Joy Reid made an outrageous comparison between President Joe Biden getting COVID and Donald Trump surviving an assassination attempt.
“Isn’t that exactly the same?” Reid asked.
No, it isn’t, far from it.
On Wednesday, the White House announced that Biden, who is fully vaccinated and previously promised those who took the shot wouldn’t get COVID-19, had contracted the virus.
Reid saw this as an opportunity to embark on a bizarre rant attacking Trump, especially criticizing him for his brave fist pump after the bullet just missed him.
“Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take an iconic photo op during an active shooter situation,” she said.
“Weird situation. We’ll figure that out one day.”
“But his survival of that and, and bouncing right back and going right to his convention is being conveyed in the media world as a sign of strength,” added Reid.
“This current president of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID.”
“Should he be fine in a couple of days?”

Reid started by sharing her frustrations that Trump was able to raise his fist in the air after getting shot.

“Doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing? That he’s strong enough, older than Trump, to have gotten something that used to be really fatal to people his age?”
“So if he comes back and is fine and is able to do rallies isn’t that exactly the same?” asked Reid.
Joy thinks nearly getting your head blown off is the same as catching a cold.
Yes, really.
Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki agreed with Reid that “it should” be treated the same.
Reid has been displaying increasingly bizarre behavior since Biden’s disastrous debate performance.
However, since Trump’s assassination attempt, Reid has gone on overdrive.
The MSNBC host previously said that Trump shouldn’t have even been allowed to stand next to Biden at the debate because he is a “convicted felon.”
She has also celebrated the show trials against Trump as racial revenge.
