New York City police have arrested an illegal immigrant suspected in the rape of a 13-year-old girl at a local park.
25-year-old Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, an illegal immigrant from Ecuador, entered the U.S. in June 2021 under Joe Biden‘s watch.
The suspect did not enter the U.S. undetected, however. He was arrested in Eagle Pass, Texas, a location notorious for its high volume of illegal border crossings.
The man then found his way to New York City.
He had three summonses from the city in what ABC News called “a domestic violence encounter with police that did not result in arrest.”
Although Inga-Landi entered the U.S. illegally, he will benefit from the American legal system’s presumption of innocence.
On Thursday, a person described as a 5-foot-5 Hispanic male in his 20s approached two schoolmates, a 13-year-old male, and a 13-year-old female.
The suspect produced a weapon that police called a “large machete-style knife” and forced the children to walk into a wooded area before tying them with shoelaces and raping the girl
Later, a group of good Samaritans helped nab the suspect.

The New York Post reported:
A group of good Samaritans helped nab the 25-year-old Ecuadorean migrant wanted for the brutal sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl at a Queens park — smacking him around and tying him up with a belt.
Dramatic video and photos obtained by The Post shows the shirtless creep – later identified by police as Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi – cowering on the sidewalk early Tuesday as the angry mob pounds him and calls him out as “a rapist.”
“Where are you going? Where are you going?” a woman is heard screaming in Spanish while clutching his hair. “He’s a rapist. He don’t care.”
Footage shows the suspect crawling under a parked car to get away from the angry vigilantes.
“He’s under the car. He’s hiding under the car because we beat the s–t out of him,” the woman yells as cops show up.
“Beat his ass,” she adds.
One man is heard asking in the background, “Where my 10,000 at?” — a reference to the reward offered by cops for the sicko’s arrest.
