Hillary Clinton compared the Allies’ fight against Nazi Germany to the Democrats’ “battle” against former President Donald Trump in a sick post commemorating the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
Clinton then limited her comments due to many social media users rightly pointing out that comparing the sheer bravery of Veterans who lost their lives to “Democrats fighting Trump” was a disgusting politicization to a solom event.
“Eighty years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought to protect democracy on the shores of Normandy,” Clinton posted to X.
“This November, all we have to do is vote,” she added.

Clinton used the solemn occasion to push the Democrats’ Trump-as-Hitler comparison.

Clinton, who is no stranger to wiping incriminating digital information, limited her post replies to mitigate blowback.

The former Secretary of State’s post diminished the historical significance of the sacrifice, where more than 9,000 Allied forces were killed or wounded in just the first day of the operation.
Those allied forces ran toward the gunfire and bombs, facing certain death, so they could protect the way of life and the people they loved so much.
Clinton uses this as an opportunity to twist it to her own political ends, which just shows you the type of person she really is.
