Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis proposed March 4, 2024, as the start date for the trial of Donald Trump, just a week before the Georgia presidential primary.
Willis is also seeking for arraignments to take place the week of September 5, according to the filing.

Trump and 18 others were indicted on charges that included violations of the state RICO Act, solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, false statements and writings, impersonating a public officer, and conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer, among others.
Willis demanded Trump voluntarily surrender no later than noon on Friday, the 25th day of August 2023.”
The March 4, 2024 date for the Trump trial is just a week before Georgia’s presidential primary election, which is set to take place on March 12.
As The Daily Fetched reported, a document outlining charges against President Donald Trump by Georgia Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ office was posted online before being retracted.
Earlier this week, Trump announced he would hold a press conference addressing his fourth indictment, predicting a “complete EXONERATION” after what he described as a “Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia.”
“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey,” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Tuesday morning.
“Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others – There will be a complete EXONERATION!” Trump said of the indictment.
“They never went after those that Rigged the Election. They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!”
