Tech billionaire Elon Musk has proposed that America could be in for a “golden age” if former president Donald Trump wins the 2024 election and ditches crippling Government regulations.
Musk said during a conversation with the All-In Podcast, “I think the reality is that if we get rid of nonsense regulations and shift people from the government sector to the private sector, we will have immense prosperity.”
“I think we will have a golden age in this country, and it’ll be fantastic.”

The Tesla CEO also reposted the viral clip, adding more context.
“Regulation is literally the bottleneck to Kardashev scale ascension,” one social media user posted.
Musk replied:
“Unless current trends for absurd regulatory overreach are reversed, humanity will be confined to Earth forever.”
Musk shared his achievements relating to Space X and reiterated his point that “regulation” is preventing America from ascending into its “golden age.”
As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this month, Musk said he is willing to join Trump’s administration if he wins the election in November.
Musk would provide insight into creating a government commission overseeing the federal government’s role.
“I look forward to serving America if the opportunity arises. No pay, no title, no recognition is needed,” Musk previously stated.
Meanwhile, Trump revealed that Musk offered his services to his administration during a speech before the Economic Club of New York.
“The commission would conduct a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and make ‘recommendations for drastic reform,'” Trump said at the time.
“We need to do it,” he emphasized.
“Can’t go on the way we are now.”
In August, Musk posted a single meme and a five-word response signaling his willingness to serve in Trump’s administration.
Trump also praised Musk during an interview, stating he is a “very smart guy.”
“I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would,” Trump said, highlighting his own acceptance as Musk in a potential White House role.
“He’s a brilliant guy,” the president added.
Musk went viral last week after calling out Liz Cheney for endorsing President Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
