CNN‘s Van Jones acknowledged the groundswell of support around Donald Trump at the RNC, recalling he had not felt this kind of energy since Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign
Trump delivered an explosive 90-minute speech at the convention, where he reflected on surviving his assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally last week.
During the event, popular entertainment figures like Kid Rock performed ‘American Badass,’ while Hulk Hogan endorsed Trump, giving an epic speech before ripping his shirt off.
“This spirit that this guy has, you think he’s drunk? He’s not!” Democrat Van Jones said referring to his Trump-supporting colleague.
“This whole thing is like this,” said Jones.

The rhetoric now circulating across mainstream media appears to be an admission Donald Trump has already won the election.
As reported this week, CNN’s John King admitted that Trump is on course for an unprecedented landslide victory this November.
“If Donald Trump won, what we have here, dark red states, solid Republican.”
“Light red states, leaning Republican.”
“If he won just those right there, he would already have the path to 270,” King added.
“He would have 272 electoral votes,” he explained.
