CNN has gone a step further in making sure the upcoming debate between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump is as unfair as possible by ordering social media companies to limit the reach of conservative news outlets during the broadcast.
The news comes after CNN’s Kasie Hunt cut off Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt after she highlighted Jake Tapper’s history of comparing Trump to Hitler.
Fox News’s Jesse Watters compared CNN’s collusion with Big Tech to slapping a gag order on the Trump campaign.
“We knew Trump’s mic would be muted during the debate, but we didn’t know his campaign’s mic would be muted before it,” said Watters.
Now CNN is reaching out to social media platforms, such as YouTube and Facebook, to censor conservatives.
For instance, Tim Pool said he was contacted by YouTube, which told him CNN is not allowing live commentary on the debate and that they “are asking other networks who are doing the exact same thing to abide by certain restrictions.”

“Now, of course, as with all presidential debates,” Pool said.
“That is the epitome of civic responsibility, of civic participation.”
“We will be doing live commentary and fact-checking in this presidential debate, as we have done in all the others since the program has existed,” he added.
“I received a message from YouTube last week asking to hop on a phone call to discuss the RNC and the presidential cycle, and I said, sure,” Pool added.
“I briefly spoke with some individuals at YouTube earlier today who made it clear that CNN reached out expressing concern.”
“I don’t know the full extent, but making it known that YouTube better contact their news programs over the CNN debate.
