A spokeswoman for Joe Biden claimed that the president would be “very energized” during his debate with Donald Trump this week.
“I’ll tell you, you’re gonna see a very energized President Biden who is looking forward to having these direct conversations with Donald Trump on Thursday night in Atlanta,” Adrienne Elrod told MSNBC.

Biden’s spokeswoman’s remarks come just days after Trump warned Biden would be “all jacked up” after receiving a “shot in the arm” before the first presidential debate.
“A little before debate time, he gets a shot in the a**,” Trump said.
“They want to strengthen him up so he comes out, he’ll come out – okay, I say he’ll come out all jacked up, right? All jacked up.”
Meanwhile, respondents on X echoed the former president, speculating the only way for frail Biden to appear “very energized” is if he’s high on a cocktail of drugs.

Biden is reportedly rehearsing on how to stand up for a prolonged period of time in preparation for the debate against Trump.
This came after the Biden campaign requested that CNN have the entire debate be a sit down affair.

Last month, Trump told the Cats & Cosby Show hosts, “I hear now we’re sitting at tables. I don’t want to sit at a table.”
“I said, ‘No, let’s stand.’ But they want to sit at a table,” Trump said.
“So we’ll be sitting at a table as opposed to doing it the way you should be, in my opinion, in a debate.”
Following Trump’s warning, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) called for the president to take a drug test.
The former White House physician for Trump told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo he is planning to formally request Biden’s drug test.
“Tomorrow, I’m sending a letter to President Biden, to his physician, Dr. [Kevin] O’Connor, and I’m CCing his entire Cabinet,” Jackson said.
“It’s embarrassing that I have to do this and it’s really embarrassing as a former White House physician to have to do something like this but we don’t have any choice, based on what’s going on,” he added.
