President Joe Biden made two major blunders within two hours of each other, first referring to Ukrainian President Zelensky as “President Putin” and later calling Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”
The blunder occurred during the first question of Thursday’s highly anticipated press conference at the NATO Summit in D.C.ington, D.C.
Biden, already an hour late to the conference, delivered a brief campaign speech in which he falsely claimed that Trump praised Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and wanted to abandon NATO.

Reading from his handler’s notes, Biden said he had been given a list of reporters to call on before answering questions.
“With that, I’ll take your questions,” Biden says as he retrieves a piece of paper from the podium.
“I’ve been given a list of people to call on here.”
Biden was asked whether he had confidence in Vice President Kamala Harris and her ability to lead if necessary.
“I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if I think she’s not qualified to be president,” he said.
One reporter pulled Biden up about his blunder, asking, “Earlier you referred to vice president Harris as vice president Trump.”
“Right now he is using that to mock your age and memory. How do you deal with that criticism?”
Biden responded, simply saying, “Listen to him.”
The news comes as Democratic party members are calling on Biden to step down, as other high-profile figures such as Rob Reiner and George Clooney have echoed the calls.
In an op-ed for the New York Times, Clooney wrote:
“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe’ big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010.”
Reiner wrote:
“It’s time to stop f**king around. If the Convicted Felon wins, we lose our Democracy.”
“Joe Biden has effectively served U.S.with honor, decency, and dignity.”
“It’s time for Joe Biden to step down.”
