Alex Soros, the son of billionaire leftwing financier George Soros, came out in support of President Joe Biden, ordering Democrats to cease calls for the president to step down.

Unfortunately for Soros, the Democratic party has become more divided than ever, with many calling on Joe Biden to step down, while other say he should remain in the race.
Meanwhile, high-profile figures such as Rob Reiner and George Clooney have called for Biden to step aside or face losing the 2024 election to trump.
In an op-ed for the New York Times, Clooney wrote:
“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe’ big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010.”
He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
“Was he tired? Yes. A cold? Maybe. But our party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw.’
“We’re all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we’ve opted to ignore every warning sign,” he added.
Last week, Reiner called for Biden to step down following his abysmal debate performance.

Another signal of the Democratic party’s divide came from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who refused to endorse Biden during an MSNBC interview.

Host Jonathan Lemire asked Pelosi, “Does Joe Biden have your support to head the Democratic ticket?”
Pelosi responded:
“It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run.”
We’re all encouraging him to make that decision. Because time is running short.”
When Lemire pushed further, it became apparent that Pelosi refused to support Biden.
“I want him to do whatever he decides to do. And that’s the way it is. Whatever he decides, we go with.”
