InfoWars host Alex Jones predicted that Vice President Kamala Harris will be “on drugs” when she faces former president Donald Trump in the upcoming debate.
Jones’ remarks have raised questions about the high-stakes showdown between the two nominees set for September.
He said Harris “is going to be on drugs” and “going to be bombed out of her gourd” during the debate.
Jones also insisted it wouldn’t be the first time the Vice President has turned to substances before a major event.
“She looked like that at the DNC. Big pupils, feeling good. Yeah, they’re going to give her a molly. I’m dead serious,” Jone of Harris’s appearance at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
He also alleged that Harris was “drunk and on Xanax” during her CNN interview with Tim Walz.
Jones also theorized that Harris’s alleged drug use stems from “serious performance anxiety.”
He went on to predict a disastrous outcome for Harris, saying, “It’s going to be spectacular in that she’s going to fall flat on her face without a teleprompter.”
According to sources, per The Daily Mail, the Harris campaign revealed that the vice president had been sequestered in a Pittsburgh hotel, working with a Donald Trump stand-in to practice her debate tactics.
Meanwhile, Trump is engaging in “policy sessions” to refresh his memory of his presidential record.
Recent polling suggests that the race between the two candidates is tight.
The A New York Times/Siena College poll showed Trump with a slim 1 percent lead over Harris, 48 percent to 47 percent, within the survey’s 3-point margin of error.
The upcoming debate promises to be a pivotal moment in the 2024 presidential race, with election day just two months away.
Harris has yet to hold an offiial press conference as she continues to avoid the media.
NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck said Harris “obviously owes it to the American people to hold free-wheeling press conferences where reporters can, unlike what happened [Thursday] with CNN’s Dana Bash, ask follow-up questions.”
“For every softball from, say, ABC or NPR, you’ll hope a liberal journalist will show some courage to do the right thing,” Houck told Fox News.
