President Joe Biden’s historically poor performance during Thursday night’s presidential debate has put the top Democrats in complete panic mode.
A CNN flash poll on the debate conducted by SSRS found that 67 percent of those polled believed former President Donald Trump won the debate, while just 33 percent believed Biden won.

The panic is real.

CNN reported:
A 57% majority of debate-watchers Thursday night say they have no real confidence in Biden’s ability to lead the country, and 44% that they have no real confidence in Trump’s ability to do so. Those numbers are effectively unchanged from the poll taken prior to the debate, in which 55% of those voters said they had no confidence in Biden, and 47% that they lacked confidence in Trump.
Neither candidate scores highly on this metric, but while just 36% of debate watchers now say they have a lot of confidence in Trump’s ability to lead the country, only 14% say the same of Biden.
It’s not just voters criticizing Biden’s debate performance, but also mainstream media talking heads who expressed disappointment and bewilderment over Biden’s disastrous performance.
Even Vice President Kamala Harris said she was worried about Biden’s performance.
Host Anderson Cooper asked:
“CNN’s John King has described panic inside the Democratic Party right now because of President Biden’s performance in tonight’s debate, he’s been hearing from Democratic lawmakers and others around the country, some within your own party are wondering if President Biden should even step aside. What do you say to that?”
Harris responded:
“Well, listen first of all, what we saw tonight is the President making a very clear contrast with Donald Trump on all of the issues that matter to the American people.”
“Yes, there was a slow start, but it was a strong finish.”
“And what became very clear through the course of the night, is that Joe Biden is fighting on behalf of the American people, on substance, on policy, on performance, Joe Biden is extraordinarily strong, and that cannot be debated.”
