The Biden administration’s new hire, Tyler Cherry, a crossing-dressing leftist who attacked police and promoted “Russiagate,” has claimed his past social media posts do not reflect his current views.
As we reported on Saturday, Cherry was promoted to associate communications director at the White House.

However, the news of Cherry’s hire sparked controversy following posts on social media attacking law enforcement and promoting the Russian collusion hoax.
“Praying for #Baltimore, but praying even harder for an end to a capitalistic police state motivated by explicit and implicit racial biases,” Cherry posted in 2015 amid riots that were sparked following the death of Freddie Gray, a Black man, in police custody in Baltimore, Fox News reported.
“Apt (sic.) time to recall that the modern day police system is a direct evolution of slave patrols and lynch mobs,” he stated in a separate post.
Cherry also called for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to be abolished.
Biden’s new hire was also posting in support of “Palestine” on social media in 2014 during the Gaza War in which Palestinian forces, backed by Hamas, launched hundreds of rockets into Israel.
“Cheersing in bars to ending the occupation of Palestine — no shame and f— your glares #ISupportGaza #FreePalestine,” Cherry said on July 25, 2014, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In another post a few months later, Cherry said modern day policing was a “direct evolution of slave patrols and lynch mobs.”
Cherry also accused Republicans of being too focused on “white grievance politics.”
“The Tea Party was never about the debt/deficit but about racism and white grievance politics,” he wrote on X.
On Sunday, Cherry wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter:
“Past social media posts from when I was younger do not reflect my current views. Period.”
“I support this Administration’s agenda – and will continue my communications work focused on our climate and environmental policies,” he wrote.
Conservative account End Wokeness responded to Cherry’s post, highlighting his past posts.
