Left-wing singer Cher has promised she will leave the United States if Donald Trump is re-elected President in 2024.
The singer claimed she “almost got an ulcer” when Trump was elected President in 2016.
“I almost got an ulcer the last time [Trump was elected],” Cher told the Guardian in an interview published Wednesday.
“If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country].”
Cher was a vocal supporter of Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election and even recorded a gut-wrenchingly cringeworthy song titled “Happiness Is Just A Thing Called Joe.”

Cher also backed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.
But Cher is no stranger to going on politically charged tirades.
In 2022, the singer reacted to the US Supreme Court overruling Roe v. Wade in an all-caps Twitter tirade, saying Trump’s “radical Republican Supreme Court” is “responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of American women.”

Cher also predicted the Court’s life-saving decision would mark the “beginning of the end of freedom.”
The pop star also suffered a meltdown in response to pro-life legislation in Texas, claiming:

In 2021, Cher had a meltdown after Glenn Youngkin was declared the winner of Virginia’s gubernatorial election, claiming that the “GOP are Nazis” and will transform America into a “white’s only club.”
During Trump’s presidency, Cher declared the commander-in-chief a “mass murderer” and even floated “death” as a punishment in a tweet – she later deleted the tweet.
Just months later, the singer said she hoped “the ground opens” underneath President Trump while he’s giving a speech at Gettysburg “and we never see him again.”
