Fox News personality and co-moderator for the GOP primary debate, Dana Perino, hosted a panel at the Clinton Foundation just days earlier, introducing the “amazing” Hillary Clinton.
The revelations came after Republican presidential candidates like Chris Christie goaded former president Donald Trump for skipping the debates.
It also follows the news that the Republican National Committee (RNC) included Univision in the debate, which ultimately led to talking leftist points, angering many conservative voters.
Prior to the second GOP debate, Perino hosted a panel titled “Journalism on the Front Lines: How Supporting a Strong, Free Press Strengthens Democratic Societies Worldwide” for the Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) annual conference.
The fact Perino attended this event is questionable in itself, but what is more concerning, given the fact she is a GOP debate moderator, is that she introduced the twice-failed presidential candidate as the “amazing Secretary Hillary Clinton.”

It’s also worth noting that Clinton has been far from quiet in the run-up to the GOP debates.
Earlier this week, the former Secretary of State resurrected her “Russia Russia Russia” narrative, asserting there was “no doubt” that Putin interfered in the 2016 election.
Clinton went a step further and attempted to resurrect the now-debunked “Putin interference” claim against Trump for the 2024 election.
“I don’t think, despite all of the deniers, there is any doubt that he interfered in our election or that he has interfered in many ways in the internal affairs of other countries, funding political parties, funding political candidates, buying off government officials in different places,” Clinton said.
Many critics blasted the GOP primary debate, most notably for including Univision.
Ilia Calderón of Noticias Univision also took a moment to speak in Spanish to viewers.
“Please allow me to welcome our Spanish-speaking audience,” Calderón stated, switching to Spanish.
“A good evening to all. From the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the Republican presidential candidates also seek your vote for the party’s primaries. Welcome.”
The inclusion of Univision led to moderators asking about leftist talking points such as ‘gun violence,’ amnesty, and Obamacare.
The result was the debate became “unwatchable” for many.
“It’s a good thing Univision is an official media partner of this debate so issues that matter [to] Republican voters are covered — said not one Republican primary or caucus voter,” Sean Spicer observed, as another noted, “It was pretty obvious when they tried to get the candidates to sign on to amnesty.”

Former Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Strategy & Communications, Cliff Simms, wrote:
“Unwatchable. By the way, the left-leaning Reagan Library would be wholly unrecognizable to the President whose legacy they purport to carry on. And the Univision editorial contributions to this debate are absurd. Trump wins again by not legitimizing any of this.”

Perino also faced fire for providing what many described as an assist to former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, choosing to respond to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis after he detailed his service in the military.
DeSantis said:
“And I think being able to serve — and I’ll be the first president elected since 1988, [who] actually served overseas in a war.”
“I think that’s going to help me as commander-in-chief, to know how you see these issues and understand that there are real lives at stake for people that wear the uniform,” he said.
“Yeah, we know that Governor Haley’s husband is serving right now as well,” Perino replied.
“And we thank him for that.”
It’s no wonder Donald Trump skipped the GOP debate, now that we know the moderator is a Hillary Clinton supporter.
Last week, Trump announced he would not attend the Republican primary debate, instead opting to speak to a crowd of current and former union members in Detroit.
Trump also skipped the first primary debate in August, opting for a pre-taped interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
