Retailer Target has reportedly dropped conservative radio host and author Mark Levin’s new book, ‘The Democrat Party Hates America,’ because it may offend Democrats who shop there.
The New York Times bestselling author made the revelation on Twitter on Wednesday:
Despite the hard stance Target has taken against Mark Levin’s book, it seems the store’s approach to satanic transgender-themed clothing is much different,
Last month, Target rolled out its trans gear aimed at children, which prompted a massive backlash from customers.
The store was eventually forced to make adjustments to its “LGBTQ” inventory.
As The Daily Fetched reported at the time, Some of those items Target removed following the backlash included LGBT-themed apparel and accessories with an occult and satanic aesthetic produced by Abprallen, a London-based firm.
The merchandise features horned skulls, pentagrams, and satanic occult images.
The spokesperson said, “For more than a decade, Target has offered an assortment of products aimed at celebrating Pride Month.
Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and well-being while at work.”
“Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior. Our focus now is on moving forward with our continuing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and standing with them as we celebrate Pride Month and throughout the year.”
The company also came under fire for its LGBT-type accessories, which many said was an attempt to sexualize young children.
More specifically, Target took backlash for selling a series of books designed for children between the ages of two and eight titled Pride 1, 2, 3, I’m Not A Girl, and Bye Bye, Binary.
The Pride Collection also featured as many as 2,000 separate products, including mugs labeled “gender fluid,” calendars with the tagline “queer all year,” and a women’s swimsuit labeled as “tuck friendly” – a reference to trans women who have not yet transitioned.
