Academy Award-winning actress Mira Sorvino has called upon people to see the movie ‘Sound of Freedom,’ in which she stars alongside Jim Caviezel.
Sorvino urged those to ignore leftists who describe the film as “political.”
“Sound of Freedom is NOT a political movie. It’s a beautiful, inspiring film w/an uplifting ending that should ignite a [fire] in every viewer’s [heart] to get involved to end [child sex trafficking] of 2 million+ kids in our day,” Sorvino tweeted.
On her Instagram account, Sorvino described Sound of Freedom as a “powerful film which will move you to action – this is not a political issue, but a fundamental crisis of our time, and we must all get involved if we are to [end it].”
The film, released by Angel Studios, sees Sorvino playing the wife of actor Jim Caviezel, who portrays a “former government agent turned vigilante who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hundreds of children from sex traffickers.”

As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this week, the film has surpassed $10 million in presales, with over one million tickets sold ahead of its premiere today, July 4.
It also received a 92 percent “fresh” rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 100 percent rating from audiences who have seen the movie ahead of its premiere.
In a review for Variety, Owen Gleiberman said that “You needn’t hold extreme beliefs to experience ‘Sound of Freedom’ as a compelling movie that shines an authentic light on one of the crucial criminal horrors of our time, one that Hollywood has mostly shied away from.”
Gleiberman added that the media shows drug trafficking in excess, but “Child sex trafficking, by contrast, isn’t a subject that lends itself to ‘entertainment.'”
“But as ‘Sound of Freedom’ informs us, it’s the fastest growing international criminal network the world has ever seen,” Gleiberman wrote.
“A closing title states — accurately — that there are more people enslaved now by sex trafficking than there were when slavery was legal,” he added.
Last month, Caviezel joined Steve Bannon on his War Room podcast and revealed he worked with several former federal agents and 30 Navy SEALS while making the film in Colombia.
Caviezel also implicated several US agencies in child sex trafficking during the interview with Bannon.
“This is the most important film,” Caviezel told Bannon.
